Sunday saw the return of Croston Open Gardens ... it’s the third year that The Potting Sheds have sponsored this beautiful event and it was everything we could have hoped for.
The base for the day was the beautiful Old Catholic Chapel in the grounds of Croston Old Hall.
A stunning, hidden away venue which housed, tea and cakes, beautiful terracotta pots thrown by a local potter, food vans, a plant and flower stall, ice creams and, of course Prosecco.
Communal tables were set and cakes were baked (lots and lots)
Ten gardens opened and each and every single one was beautiful.
Who knew what was behind the houses that we pass by every day.
100’s of people set off, map in hand, to explore the village and enjoy the loveliest of days.
Thank you to every single one of you who came, and for all the kindness, help and support, thank you xxxx
The Recreation Park
Sunday also saw the grand re-opening of the Recreational Park.
The Rec committee, along with The Potting Sheds, have transformed a once unloved field into the most beautiful communal space that we could ever have hoped for.
