It’s National Gardening week so we thought a garden-y tip would be utterly the thing for today, hope you enjoy it.
Wisteria can be planted at any time of the year and It really takes very little to achieve fat buds just about to burst with colour
A nice sunny wall and pruning twice a year is all that these vigorous climbers need.
We prune once in July/August to remove all the whip growth. This keeps its shape and stops it taking over.
Then again in February/March, reducing the summer pruned shoots to two buds so you can see the beautiful flowers in May.
Its our farmers market tomorrow from 10am and our shop is fully stocked with plants and flowers.
