It's a busy and exciting time of year in this little shop, Christmas parcels arriving and people just starting to tick things off their lists!!
One of my very favorite things about being a shopgirl is decorating the shop for Christmas.
Here is tiny selection of things that have arrived this week ...
And in other news ... Birthdays have been celebrated ...

Autumn seems to be here and along with it .... The shop sees the arrival this week of beautiful long woolly socks and mittens.
Thinking ahead, our fabulously festive Christmas nights are on the 16th November and the 7th December this year. More details will follow shortly.
plus ... It's the farmers market tomorrow. We have lots plants to give your garden some autumn colour. It would be lovely to see you.

So yesterday, I am told, was the first day of Autumn and coincidentally, it also brought a delivery of cosy autumny things for the shop.
And this beautiful book .... 'Hygge' , a Danish word that describes the feeling of being cosy, comfy and at peace with the world.

Monday, as the birds woke, saw us heading off to Top Drawer trade show at Olympia in search of wonderful new things for Christmas.
Amongst many other fabulous things, We found these lovlies ....
A brush for every single occasion, made by hand, by visually impaired craftsmen.
Gorgeous Christmas decorations including this fab wire rams head
And, the shop had the help of a very hot dog

So ... Spent the nicest morning at the flower sellers umming and ahhhing at the gorgeous blooms on display. With coffee in hand to ward off the frostbite and regretting not wearing more than a little summer dress, I headed into the fridge.
It took some time to choose the ones to take back to the shop for this weeks bunches, plus, they had a really good playlist on. Anyhow ...
And ...... who needs a van when you have a little fiat 500
Happy weekend xx
Just finished setting up for tomorrow's farmers market and looking longingly at lots of people sat in the courtyard enjoying this beautiful September sunshine.
Amongst other lovelies, we have on sale ...
Japanese anemones, astranthia, ferns, little trays of violas, climbers and echinacea.
It would be lovely to see you.
We have a lovely sculpture trail here just at the moment ... You pick up a map and wander along spotting the different sculptures along the way.
A perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon before the holidays end xx
